Guru Care is a family owned and operated business, supporting those with disabilities in Illawarra and Sydney. Husband and wife team Belinda and Stewart have worked within the disability industry for over a decade along with raising their two girls, Bree and Kira.
Through raising their own child with a disability, Belinda and Stewart gained a greater understanding of the challenges our friends and their families may face. They wanted to create a support provider that felt like a family and viewed every individual as a person and not a number, allowing our friends to live their best lives.
While Belinda is behind the scenes these days, Stewart’s always supporting his friends, ensuring only the best support/care is given.
Guru Care is in the process of starting a day program based in the Illawarra/South Coast region. We’re also securing a more permanent accommodation for respite and more frequent weekends away for our friends.
